Cultural Rajasthan Tour

The culture of Rajasthan reflects its glorious colorful history. Its culture is active with yummy foods, beautiful dances, and mesmerizing music. It is also known for its royal grandeur and royalties and its varied folk culture from villages is often depicted as symbolic of the state which attracts tourists from all over the world.

It is also rich in its plants and fauna with some of the famous wildlife shelters & national parks.

Rajasthani Tradition

Rajasthan has various cultural traditions that reflect the ancient Indian way of life. Jats are mostly Hindus and Sikhs. Meenas of Rajasthan to date completely follow Vedic literature, which usually includes worship of Shiva and Krishna and the Durga.

Rajasthani Costume

Usually, men wear dhotis, kurta, angarkha, and paggar or safa. Traditional Chudidar payjama frequently replaces dhoti in different regions. Women wear ghagra and kanchli . Dhoti is worn in various ways like Marwar or Shekhawati or Hadoti. Furthermore, there are a few variations between pagri and safa despite both being Rajasthani headgear.

Rajasthani Cuisines

Rajasthani cooking was impressed by both the war-like lifestyles of its citizens and the availability of components in this desert region. Food that could last for several days and could be eaten without warming was preferred. The deficiency of water and fresh green vegetables have all had their impact on the cooking.

Rajasthani Music and Dance

The Ghoomar dance from Jodhpur Marwar and Kalbeliya dance of Jaisalmer have gained worldwide appreciation. Folk music is the largest part of the Rajasthani culture. Kathputli, Bhopa, Chang, Teratali, Ghindr, Kachchhighori, and Tejaji are samples of traditional Rajasthani culture.
