Ranthambore National Park – Sawai Madhopur
Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, northern India. It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards, and marsh crocodiles. Its landmarks include the imposing 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on a hilltop, and the Ganesh Mandir temple. Also, in the park, Padam Talao Lake is known for its abundance of water lilies.
Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary Bharatpur:-
The Keoladeo Ghana National Park was earlier known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to a significant number of seasonal birds during the hibernal period. In 1971, the park was listed as a preserved place and was later included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites. The sanctuary came into being about 250 years ago and is named after the Keoladeo Temple situated within its assumptions. The Keoladeo Ghana National Park is one of the best birding regions globally and accepts as many as 1,00,000 visitants every year.
Sariska National Park Alwar :-
The Sariska Tiger Reserve is located in the Alwar division in Rajasthan and is one of Rajasthan’s major national parks. It was the shooting grounds of the State of Alwar. The sanctuary was listed as a Wildlife Reserve in 1955 and was brought under the Project Tiger system in 1978. The most beautiful feature of the Sariska Tiger Reserve is its community of Royal Bengal Tigers. It is home to many wild creatures, including Rhesus animals, Hanuman langurs, pets, wild hogs, chousingha or the four-horned gazelle, chinkara, nilgai, sambhar, golden jackals, striped hyenas, caracal, forest cats, and jaguars. The park is spread over 866 square kilometers. The Sariska Tiger Sanctuary is also the first-ever Tiger Reserve in the country wherever tiger relocation and rehabilitation has been carried out vigorously.
Desert National Sanctuary Jaisalmer:-
The Desert National Park is one of the major national parks in Rajasthan and is located near Jaisalmer’s town. Sprawling over an area of 3162 square kilometers, the national park is one of the biggest national parks in the nation. The national park’s unique scene is one of the greatest charms for tourists worldwide. Almost 20 percent of the park is constituted of sandhills. The other demonstrations near the Desert National Park are the Sam Sand Dunes located near the Thar Desert. The Gadsisar Sagar Tank is one of the most famous tourist places in Rajasthan. A large number of wandering birds visit the lake while the wintertime every year. Tourists can also enjoy jeep safaris to travel a larger part of the field.
